Moverzfax Special Moving Task Force
Customer Help & Moving Dispute Resolution
When Your Move Goes Wrong, You Don’t Have to Face It Alone.
Have you been overcharged by a moving company, confronted with unexpected fees, denied access to your belongings, or pressured to pay additional money to receive your shipment?
If you have already attempted to resolve the dispute directly with your mover but have been unable to reach a fair agreement, Moverzfax Special Moving Task Force (SMTF) is here to help you take the next step.
Our mission is to support consumers who believe they have been treated unfairly by a moving company. We work to open a constructive line of communication between customers and movers, encourage reasonable solutions, and help consumers understand the options available to them.
You deserve transparency, accountability, and the opportunity to resolve your moving dispute without unnecessary stress.
How Our 5-Step Customer Assistance Process Works
Follow our transparent five-stage process designed to evaluate your moving dispute and facilitate constructive communication.
Submit Your Moving Dispute
The first step is to tell us what happened.
Complete the Special Moving Task Force Customer Assistance Form below. Provide accurate information about your move, the moving company involved, the nature of your dispute, and the steps you have already taken to resolve the issue.
Include copies of relevant documents if requested, such as your estimate, contract, bill of lading, invoices, payment receipts, delivery paperwork, and written communications with the mover.
The more complete your information, the better we can understand your situation and determine how to proceed.
Case Review and Evaluation
Once we receive your submission, our team will review the information provided to understand the nature of your complaint and the outcome you are seeking.
We will assess the available documentation, identify the main points of disagreement, and determine whether the case appears appropriate for our customer assistance process.
If additional information is needed, we may contact you for clarification before proceeding.
Please note that submitting a case does not guarantee acceptance, a particular outcome, or recovery of money or belongings.
Direct Outreach to the Moving Company
When a case is accepted for assistance, Moverzfax SMTF will contact the moving company to present the customer’s concerns and request a response.
Our objective is to encourage both parties to communicate constructively and explore a reasonable resolution. Depending on the circumstances, possible solutions may include reviewing disputed charges, arranging delivery or release of belongings, addressing service concerns, correcting billing discrepancies, or discussing an appropriate settlement.
We will seek to facilitate a solution that both parties can agree upon. However, the moving company must be willing to participate, and Moverzfax cannot compel a company to accept a proposed resolution.
Work Toward a Fair Resolution
If the mover responds, we will work to facilitate further communication and help clarify the outstanding issues.
Where appropriate, we may encourage the parties to document any proposed agreement in writing, including payment terms, delivery arrangements, timelines, or other agreed-upon actions.
If the mover refuses to cooperate, the dispute remains unresolved, or the circumstances require assistance beyond our role, we will explain the next steps that may be available to the customer.
Additional Assistance and Legal Resources
Some disputes cannot be resolved through direct communication alone. In cases involving potentially serious financial losses, withheld belongings, or other complex issues, legal guidance may be necessary.
Moverzfax is developing partnerships with established law firms that share our commitment to consumer protection and fair treatment in the moving industry. Where appropriate and available, we may help connect customers with legal resources to explore possible remedies for recovering their belongings or addressing other disputes.
Any legal representation, case acceptance, fees, or recovery efforts will be subject to the law firm’s independent assessment and engagement terms. A referral does not guarantee representation or a particular legal outcome.
Customers may also consider contacting the relevant state or federal transportation regulator, consumer protection agency, or law enforcement agency when the circumstances warrant it.
